Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify and describe different animal habitats and understand the importance of habitats for animals.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Pictures of different animal habitats, drawing paper, crayons, and markers.

Prep: Prepare the pictures of animal habitats and gather drawing materials.

Activities

1. Show pictures of different animal habitats and discuss each habitat with the student, emphasizing the characteristics and the animals that live there.

2. Ask the student to choose one habitat and draw a picture of it, including the animals that live there.

3. After drawing, have the student describe their chosen habitat and the animals in it.
