Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a descriptive paragraph about an interior design concept.

Materials and Prep

  • Access to a computer or tablet for research (optional)

Prior knowledge required: Basic understanding of interior design concepts and vocabulary.

Activities

  1. Research and Select an Interior Design Concept:

    Using a computer or tablet (if available), research different interior design concepts such as minimalist, industrial, or bohemian. Choose one concept that interests you the most.

  2. Describe the Chosen Concept:

    Write a descriptive paragraph about the chosen interior design concept. Include details about the colors, textures, furniture, and overall atmosphere associated with the concept. Be creative and use vivid language to bring the concept to life.

  3. Peer Review and Revision:

    Exchange your paragraph with a classmate or family member. Provide feedback and suggestions for improvement. Revise your paragraph based on the feedback received.

  4. Present Your Concept:

    Share your descriptive paragraph with the class or family. Use expressive language and gestures to help others visualize the interior design concept you have described.
