Preparation:
- Prepare the large flashcards with the letter and number of the week
- Gather the picture books related to the letter and number
Activities
1. Letter and Number Hunt: Hide the large flashcards around the room and have the student find and identify them. Once found, ask the student to say the sound of the letter and count the number of objects on the number card.
2. Story Time: Read a picture book related to the letter and number of the week. Encourage the student to point out the letter and number in the book.
3. Letter and Number Tracing: Using the whiteboard, guide the student in tracing the letter and number of the week, and practice saying their sounds and values.
