Prep: Familiarize yourself with the story and practice reading it aloud with expression.
Activities
1. Read Aloud: Sit with the student in a comfortable reading area and read the picture book aloud with enthusiasm and expression.
2. Retelling Game: After reading, ask the student to retell the main points of the story in their own words. Encourage them to use the pictures to help them remember.
3. Acting Out: Encourage the student to act out their favorite part of the story, using their imagination and creativity.
