Materials and Prep
Materials needed:
- Assorted beads
- Elastic cord or jewelry wire
- Scissors
- Jewelry clasps (optional)
Prep: Familiarize yourself with different types of beads and their uses.
Activities
1. Bead Sorting: Sort the beads by color, size, and type to make it easier to select them for the jewelry.
2. Design Planning: Sketch out a design for the jewelry piece, considering the arrangement of beads and the length of the cord.
3. Beading: String the beads onto the cord according to the planned design, making sure to secure the ends properly.
4. Finishing Touches: If using jewelry clasps, attach them to the ends of the cord to complete the jewelry piece.
