Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to make homemade almond butter and understand the basic concepts of how it is made.

Materials and Prep

Materials needed: raw almonds, food processor or blender, optional flavorings like honey or cinnamon.

Before starting the lesson, make sure to have all the materials ready and have adult supervision for using the food processor or blender.

Activities

1. Start by placing the raw almonds in the food processor or blender.

2. Blend the almonds until they turn into a smooth and creamy consistency, pausing occasionally to scrape down the sides.

3. Add optional flavorings like honey or cinnamon if desired and blend again until well mixed.

4. Enjoy your homemade almond butter on toast or with fruits!
