By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own fairy tale story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.

Materials and Prep

You will need paper and pencils for writing. Before starting the lesson, think about your favorite fairy tale and be ready to share it with me.

Activities

• Discuss your favorite fairy tale with me. What do you like about it? What makes it a fairy tale?

• Brainstorm characters, settings, and magical elements for your own fairy tale. Draw or write them down.

• Write a draft of your fairy tale story, making sure to include a beginning, middle, and end.

• Share your story with me and discuss what makes it a fairy tale.
