Transitional-Kindergarten Grade Talking Points
- "Today, we are going to create our very own storybook. What do you think makes a good story?"
- "Let's think about who our main character will be. What should they look like? What will they do in the story?"
- "Now, let's draw the setting of our story. Where will the story take place? Draw it on the paper."
- "Next, we need to decide what happens in the beginning, middle, and end of our story. What are the important events?"
- "How is our main character feeling in the story? Can you draw the character showing different emotions?"
- "Finally, let's tell the story based on the drawings we have created. Use your imagination to bring the story to life!"
