Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a creative short story with engaging characters and a well-developed plot.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Pen/pencil, notebook or paper

Activities

1. Brainstorming: Think of a unique character and setting for your story. Write down key details about your character and the world they inhabit.

2. Plot Development: Create a plot outline for your story, including the introduction, rising action, climax, and resolution.

3. Writing: Use your outline to write the first draft of your short story. Focus on descriptive language and engaging dialogue.

4. Peer Review: Exchange stories with a peer and provide constructive feedback on each other's work.
