Objective

By the end of this lesson, the toddler will be able to identify different types of healthy foods and understand the importance of nutrition in maintaining a healthy body.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Various pictures of fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods. A small whiteboard or paper for drawing. A healthy snack for demonstration.

Prep: Familiarize yourself with the different types of healthy foods and their benefits. Prepare the healthy snack for demonstration.

Activities

1. Food Sorting Game: Show the toddler pictures of different foods and ask them to sort them into "healthy" and "unhealthy" categories.

2. Drawing and Naming: Have the toddler draw their favorite healthy food and then ask them to name it.

3. Snack Time: Demonstrate how to prepare a simple healthy snack, such as a fruit salad, and discuss its nutritional benefits.
