Prep: Make sure to apply sunscreen before going outside and bring a hat and water bottle to stay safe and hydrated.
Activities
Go on a nature walk and observe different types of plants, rocks, and soil. Take notes on what you see.
Collect some leaves, rocks, and soil samples to bring back and examine closely. Use your notebook to draw and write about your findings.
Play a game of "Nature Bingo" by finding and checking off items like a bird's nest, a certain type of flower, or a unique rock formation.
