Objective

Materials and Prep

Materials: Sunscreen, hat, water bottle, notebook, pencil

Prep: Make sure to apply sunscreen before going outside and bring a hat and water bottle to stay safe and hydrated.

Activities

• Go on a nature walk and observe different types of plants, rocks, and soil. Take notes on what you see.

• Collect some leaves, rocks, and soil samples to bring back and examine closely. Use your notebook to draw and write about your findings.

• Play a game of "Nature Bingo" by finding and checking off items like a bird's nest, a certain type of flower, or a unique rock formation.
