Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to understand the different elements of nature and their roles in the environment, as well as appreciate the beauty of the Earth through outdoor exploration.
Materials and Prep
Materials: Sunscreen, water bottle, hat, comfortable clothes and shoes for outdoor play
Prep: Ensure a safe and suitable outdoor play area is available.
Activities
1. Nature Scavenger Hunt: Explore the outdoor area and find different elements of nature such as leaves, rocks, flowers, and insects. Take note of the colors, shapes, and textures of each item.
2. Cloud Watching: Lie down on the grass and look up at the sky. Observe the different types of clouds and try to identify their shapes. Discuss how clouds are formed and their role in the water cycle.
3. Plant Identification: Take a walk and try to identify different types of plants and trees. Discuss the importance of plants in providing oxygen and food for living organisms.
