Materials and Prep
You will need a piece of paper and a pencil for this lesson. Before starting, make sure you know the letters of the alphabet and their sounds.
Activities
Draw a snowflake on the paper and ask the student to spell the word "snow" while pointing to each letter.
Take a walk outside and ask the student to find objects related to snow (e.g., snowman, snowball, sled) and spell the words together.
Create a "snow" word search by writing the letters in random order and asking the student to circle them in the correct sequence.
