Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to write and illustrate a short story about winter.

Materials and Prep

Materials: Blank paper, crayons or markers

Prep: None

Activities

1. Brainstorm: Ask the student to talk about their favorite things about winter, such as snow, ice skating, or building snowmen.

2. Story Writing: Encourage the student to write a short story about their favorite winter activity. They can draw illustrations to go with their story.

  • "Winter is a season when it gets very cold outside. We can see snow and ice during winter."
