Materials and Prep

Prior knowledge: Understanding of basic winter concepts such as snow, cold weather, and winter clothing
Activities
1. Read a Winter-themed Book: Read a winter-themed book together and discuss the winter-related words and concepts found in the story.
2. Winter Word Hunt: Go on a word hunt around the house for winter-related words (e.g. snow, ice, mittens) and write them down on a piece of paper.
3. Winter Drawing: Encourage the student to draw a picture of their favorite winter activity or scene, and then describe it using winter-related words.
