Materials and Prep

- Access to a garden or a nature walk area
Before the lesson, familiarize yourself with different types of flora and fauna, and prepare a list of questions to ask the student during the nature walk.
Activities
- Start with a nature walk to observe and sketch different plants and animals in their natural habitat.
- After the nature walk, discuss the student's observations and help them identify the different flora and fauna they encountered.
- Encourage the student to create a visual art piece (drawing or painting) based on their favorite plant or animal from the nature walk.
- Guide the student to add details and colors to their artwork, emphasizing the importance of capturing the beauty of nature in their art.
