Before starting the lesson, make sure you understand the concept of addition and subtraction.

Activities

1. Set up a shooting range using the toy targets or objects. Assign different point values to each target.
2. Take turns shooting at the targets and keep track of the points earned by each player.
3. Practice addition by adding up the points earned by each player after each round.
4. Practice subtraction by subtracting the points earned by the losing player from the points earned by the winning player.
5. Continue playing multiple rounds and keep track of the total points earned by each player.
