  • Blank paper and crayons/markers
  • Optional: Books or online resources about coniferous trees

Activities

  1. Show the picture or drawing of a coniferous tree to the student.

Ask the student to observe the tree and describe its features, such as its shape, leaves, and color.

Encourage the student to draw their own coniferous tree on the blank paper.

  2. Discuss the importance of coniferous trees in geography.

Explain that coniferous trees are often found in colder regions and can withstand harsh weather conditions.

Highlight how these trees provide shelter and food for animals, and how they contribute to the oxygen production and carbon dioxide absorption.

Discuss any interesting facts or additional information that the student finds.
