Activities

  1. Start by writing down the following vocabulary words related to the Roman Empire:

    • Emperor
    • Colosseum
    • Gladiator
    • Aqueduct
    • Forum
  2. Next, create flashcards with each vocabulary word on one side and its definition on the other side.

  3. Review the flashcards and practice spelling each word out loud.

  4. Once you feel comfortable with the spelling of the words, test yourself by covering the definitions and trying to recall the correct spelling for each word.

  5. Repeat the previous step until you can spell all the words correctly without any prompts.
