Activities

Start by showing the student different Hot Wheels track pieces and ask them to name each piece.
Have them write down the names of the track pieces they know on a piece of paper.

Introduce new track pieces and their names.
Ask the student to spell the new track piece names out loud and write them down.

Play a game where the student has to match the written track piece name with the corresponding track piece.
Encourage the student to read the names out loud as they match them.

End the lesson by reviewing all the track piece names and spelling them together.
Ask the student to write down the names again to see their progress.
