Activities
- Activity 1: Sentence Menu - Create a menu with different types of sentences. For example, you can have a "Question" dish, an "Exclamation" dish, and a "Statement" dish. Write a sentence for each type and illustrate them. Be creative!
- Activity 2: Sentence Mix-Up - Cut out different words and punctuation marks from a newspaper or magazine. Shuffle them and try to create different types of sentences. Can you make a question? Can you make an exclamation?
- Activity 3: Sentence Detective - Read a short story or a paragraph from a book. Identify the different types of sentences used by underlining them with different colors. Discuss why the author chose to use each type of sentence.
