Activities
- Create a World Map: Help the student draw or print out a world map. Encourage them to color and label different continents.
- Explore Cultures: Show the student pictures or read books about different cultures around the world. Discuss their traditions, clothing, and food.
- Cut and Paste: Prepare index cards or small pieces of paper with pictures representing different cultures. Have the student cut them out and glue them onto a larger piece of paper, creating a collage of diverse cultures.
- Storytime: Read a children's book about history or a famous person from the past. Discuss what life was like back then and ask the student questions to spark their curiosity.
- Geography Game: Play a simple geography game by pointing to a country on the map and asking the student to identify it. Give them hints if needed.
