Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to learn about the Japan pavilion in EPCOT and understand some key aspects of Japanese culture and geography.

Materials and Prep

  • Computer or tablet with internet access
  • Pen and paper

Activities

  1. Watch a virtual tour of the Japan pavilion in EPCOT on the official Disney website or YouTube. Pay attention to the different architectural features, landmarks, and cultural elements you observe.

  2. Research and write down at least three interesting facts about Japan's geography. Include information about its islands, famous mountains, and any unique geographical features.

  3. Create a mini travel brochure for the Japan pavilion. Include a brief description, pictures, and some interesting facts about the attractions and cultural experiences one can have there.

  4. Draw a picture of a traditional Japanese landscape, such as a cherry blossom tree or a pagoda. Use your imagination and creativity to make it colorful and vibrant.
