Activity 1: Research
Have the student research about a specific era or event in Japanese history that interests them. They can use books or the internet to gather information.

Activity 2: Timeline Creation
Ask the student to create a timeline of important events in Japanese history. They can draw or write the events in chronological order.

Activity 3: Vocabulary Building
Introduce the student to a few useful Japanese phrases related to history. For example, "æ—¥æœ¬ã®æ´å²" (Nihon no rekishi) means "Japanese history" and "æ¦å£«" (Bush) means "samurai". Have the student practice pronouncing and writing these phrases.

Encourage the student to imagine being a historical figure from Japan. They can write a short dialogue or monologue in Japanese, expressing the thoughts and experiences of that character.
