Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to create your own Pokémon Lego designs and understand the basic concepts of building with Lego.

Materials and Prep

  • Pokémon Lego sets (if available)
  • Assorted Lego bricks
  • Paper and pencil

No prior knowledge or preparation is required for this lesson.

Activities

  1. Design your own Pokémon: Start by brainstorming your own unique Pokémon character. Think about its type, abilities, and appearance. Sketch your design on paper.
  2. Lego Pokémon Battle: Use your Lego bricks to build two Pokémon characters. Create a battle scene and imagine their moves and strategies. Have a friendly battle with a friend or family member.
  3. Pokédex Showcase: Build a display area using Lego bricks to showcase your Pokémon creations. Include their names, types, and any special abilities. Take pictures or videos to share with others.
  4. Team Building Challenge: Work on building a team of Pokémon using only the bricks available. Try to create a balanced team with different types and abilities. Use your imagination and creativity!
