Materials and Prep

Before starting this lesson, make sure you have basic cooking skills and knowledge of kitchen safety.

Activities

  • Choose a country or region that interests you. Research traditional recipes from that place.

  • Select one or more recipes to try. Make a list of ingredients and gather them.

  • Follow the recipe instructions and prepare the dish. Take note of any unique techniques or ingredients.

  • Once the dish is ready, taste and evaluate it. Reflect on the flavors and compare them to your own preferences.

  • Document your cooking adventure by taking pictures or writing a journal entry.

  • Share your experience with others. Describe the dish, its origin, and your overall impression.
