Activities
- Activity 1: Greetings and Introductions
Practice basic greetings and introductions in Spanish. Write down phrases like "Hola, ¿cómo estás?" (Hello, how are you?) and "Me llamo [your name]" (My name is [your name]). Repeat the phrases out loud until you feel comfortable saying them. - Activity 2: Role Play
Pretend to be in different scenarios, such as ordering food at a restaurant or asking for directions. Use the phrases you learned in Activity 1 to engage in simple conversations. You can even act out both roles to practice speaking and listening skills. - Activity 3: Vocabulary Building
Create flashcards with common Spanish words and their English translations. Practice memorizing the words and their pronunciations. Use the flashcards to quiz yourself or play a memory game with a family member or friend. - Activity 4: Watch Spanish Videos
Find engaging Spanish videos online or on language learning platforms. Watch short clips or episodes with subtitles in both Spanish and English. Pay attention to the pronunciation and try to pick up new words or phrases from the videos.
