Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to use their imagination and creativity to build various structures using Lego.

Activities

  1. Free Building: Allow the student to freely explore and build whatever they like using the Lego bricks. Encourage them to experiment with different combinations and structures.

  2. Color Sorting: Sort the Lego bricks by color and ask the student to create a tower using only one color at a time. This activity helps with color recognition and fine motor skills.

  3. Puzzle Building: Provide the student with a Lego puzzle set and guide them through the process of following the instructions to build a specific model. This activity helps with problem-solving and following directions.

  4. Storytelling: Ask the student to build a Lego scene based on a story you read together. Encourage them to use their imagination to create characters and settings. This activity promotes creativity and narrative skills.
