Objective
By the end of this lesson, you will be able to build and create different structures using LEGO blocks.
Materials and Prep
- LEGO blocks of various sizes and colors
- A flat surface to build on (like a table or floor)
- An open space with enough room to move around
No prior knowledge is required for this lesson. Just come with your imagination and creativity!
Activities
- Free Building: Use your LEGO blocks to build whatever you can imagine. Create houses, cars, animals, or anything else you like. Let your creativity flow!
- Color Sorting: Sort your LEGO blocks by color. Create separate piles for red, blue, yellow, and any other colors you have. This will help you practice your color recognition skills.
- Building Challenge: Choose a specific object or structure to build, like a tower or a bridge. See if you can build it using your LEGO blocks. You can also challenge yourself to build the tallest tower or the longest bridge.
- Storytelling: Build a scene or characters using your LEGO blocks and create a story around them. Use your imagination to bring your LEGO creations to life!
