Objective

Before starting the lesson, make sure you have a basic understanding of the alphabet in sign language.

Activities

  1. Warm-up: Mirror Reflection

    Stand in front of a mirror and practice signing the alphabet. Pay attention to your hand shapes and movements. Use the mirror to check your accuracy.

  2. Express and Respond: Personal Favorites

    Write down a list of your favorite things such as colors, animals, or foods. Practice signing each item on your list and express why you like them using sign language. For example, sign "I like dogs because they are playful and loyal."

  3. Role Play: Opinion Exchange

    Imagine a scenario where you and a friend are discussing your favorite movies. Take turns expressing your opinions about different movies using sign language. Use phrases like "In my opinion..." or "I think..." to share your thoughts.

  4. Group Discussion: Deaf Culture

    Research and learn about deaf culture. Discuss with your family or friends the importance of sign language in deaf communities and how it helps individuals express their ideas and opinions. Share any interesting facts or stories you discover.
