Activities

  1. Watch an episode of an anime of your choice.

    While watching, pay attention to the dialogue, character development, and plot structure. Take notes on any interesting writing techniques you notice.

  2. Select a scene from the episode you watched and write a short paragraph analyzing the writing techniques used in that scene.

    Consider elements such as dialogue, pacing, suspense, or character interactions. Explain how these techniques contribute to the overall impact of the scene.

  3. Choose a character from the anime and create a character profile.

    Describe their personality, background, and motivations. Use your understanding of the character's traits to write a short monologue or dialogue for them.

  4. Write a brief summary or review of the anime episode you watched.

    Focus on highlighting the strengths of the writing, such as engaging storytelling, well-developed characters, or effective use of humor or emotions.
