Transitional-Kindergarten Grade Talking Points
- "Music is a wonderful way to express ourselves and tell stories without using words."
- "Instruments come in different shapes and sizes, and they make different sounds. Some instruments are played by hitting them, while others are blown or plucked."
- "When we listen to music, we can imagine different things and create pictures in our minds. We can draw what we hear to show others what the music makes us think of."
- "Music can make us feel happy, sad, excited, or calm. It can also make us want to move our bodies and dance."
