Activities

  1. Create a Comic Strip

Ask the student to choose a historical event or a scientific concept they are interested in. Have them create a comic strip that illustrates and explains the chosen topic. Encourage them to use their drawing skills to make the comic visually engaging.

  2. Illustrate Vocabulary Words

Select a list of vocabulary words from the student's English, History, Math, Science, or Social Studies curriculum. Have the student create visual representations of each word. They can draw the word itself or create a scene that demonstrates its meaning.

Ask the student to choose a historical period they find fascinating. Have them create a timeline that showcases key events and figures from that era. They can illustrate each event or person to make the timeline visually appealing.

  4. Design a Math Story

Provide the student with a math problem or concept. Have them create a visual story that incorporates the math element. For example, they can draw characters solving a math problem or create a comic strip that explains a mathematical concept.

  5. Create an Illustrated Map
