Materials and Prep

  • Your favorite music playlist
  • Water bottle
  • Parental supervision

Activities

  • Warm-Up Dance Party: Put on your favorite music and dance around for 5 minutes to warm up your body.
  • Obstacle Course: Create a simple obstacle course using pillows, chairs, and other safe household items. Time yourself going through it and try to beat your own record!
  • Healthy Snack Break: Take a break to have a healthy snack like fruits or veggies. Talk about why it's important to fuel your body with nutritious food.
  • Stretching Time: Practice different stretches to improve flexibility and prevent injuries. Remember to breathe deeply while stretching.
  • Cool-Down Yoga: Finish the lesson with some calming yoga poses like child's pose and tree pose to relax your body and mind.
