By the end of this lesson, you will be able to spell and recognize key Bible-related words.

Materials and Prep

  • Bible
  • Pen or pencil
  • Blank paper or notebook

Activities

  1. Choose a Bible verse or short passage that you find interesting.

    Write down the verse or passage on a piece of paper or in your notebook.

  2. Read the verse or passage out loud.

    Identify any words that you are unsure how to spell.

    Write down those words separately on your paper or notebook.

  3. Use your Bible and any other resources available to you to find the correct spelling of the words.

    Write the correct spelling next to each word on your paper or notebook.

  4. Practice spelling the words out loud. You can also try writing them multiple times to reinforce your memory.
