Start by playing a counting game with your child. Take turns counting from 1 to 10, and encourage them to count as accurately as possible.
Show your child the number flashcards or number chart. Explain that today, you will be learning about numbers that are out of order.
Give your child a set of number flashcards or write down numbers randomly on a piece of paper. Ask them to arrange the numbers in the correct order, starting from the smallest to the largest.
Write down a sequence of numbers, but leave some numbers missing. Ask your child to identify the missing numbers and fill in the blanks.
Hide the number flashcards around the room or in your backyard. Ask your child to find the numbers and put them in the correct order.
