Materials and Prep
- Rocks of different sizes and shapes
- Washable markers or crayons
- Table or workspace
- Apron or old clothes to protect from mess

Activities
- Bug Hunt: Go on a mini bug hunt in your backyard or around the house. Look at the different bugs and their features.
- Rock Selection: Choose a rock that inspires you. It could be smooth, rough, big, or small.
- Draw Bugs: Use your markers or crayons to draw bugs on the rocks. You can create ladybugs, butterflies, ants, or even make up your own bug!
- Bug Story: Create a story about the bugs you've drawn on the rocks. What are their names? Where do they live?

- "Let's go on a bug hunt! What bugs can you find outside or in your home?"
- "Which rock do you want to use for your bug drawing? Show me the one that speaks to you."
- "Now, let's draw a bug on the rock. What colors will you use? What does your bug look like?"
