By the end of this lesson, Audrey will understand the benefits of physical activity on health and wellbeing and actively participate in various fun activities.
Materials and Prep
- Comfortable clothing and sneakers
- Water bottle
- Open space indoors or outdoors
- No prior knowledge needed, just enthusiasm!
Activities
- Jumping Jacks: Do 3 sets of 20 jumping jacks to get the heart pumping and muscles working.
- Obstacle Course: Create an obstacle course using household items and time Audrey as she completes it. Encourage creativity and movement!
- Dance Party: Put on some music and have a dance party for 10 minutes. Dancing is a great way to have fun while being active.
- Stretching: Finish the lesson with some simple stretching exercises to cool down and improve flexibility.
