Objective

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to write a short review of a YouTube video using descriptive language and proper sentence structure.

Materials and Prep

  • A computer or tablet with internet access
  • A notebook or paper
  • A pencil or pen
  • A YouTube video of your choice

Activities

  1. Watch a YouTube video of your choice together with your parent or guardian.
  2. Pay attention to the video content, the host's presentation style, and any interesting details.

  3. After watching the video, discuss it with your parent or guardian.
  4. Talk about what you liked or disliked about the video, and why.

  5. Write a short review of the video.
  6. Use descriptive words to explain why you enjoyed or didn't enjoy the video. Remember to use proper sentence structure and punctuation.

  7. Read your review out loud to your parent or guardian.
  8. Practice speaking clearly and using expression when sharing your thoughts.

  9. If you're comfortable, record a video of yourself sharing your review.
  10. Practice speaking confidently in front of the camera and share your thoughts just like the YouTube hosts you watched.
