Materials and Prep

- Nature Study Backpack (can be any backpack or bag)
- Prepare a list of nature prompts (e.g., favorite tree, animal sighting, weather observation)
Activities
1. Nature Walk: Take a walk in your backyard or a nearby park. Observe the plants, insects, and animals you encounter. Collect interesting leaves, rocks, or feathers to add to your Nature Study Backpack.
2. Journaling: Sit down with your Nature Study Backpack and write about your nature walk. Draw pictures of what you saw. Use colored pencils to make your journal colorful and fun.
3. Create a Nature Collage: Use the collected items from your walk to create a nature collage in your journal. Glue the leaves, rocks, or feathers onto a page and write about where you found them.
