Conversation Circle
Gather in a circle and take turns sharing something interesting about your day. Encourage the student to ask questions about what others share.

Act out different scenarios, like ordering food at a restaurant or playing in a playground. This will help the student practice using polite language and responding to others.

Read a short story together and then take turns talking about the characters and what they liked. Encourage the student to express their thoughts and feelings about the story.

Pass a soft ball back and forth. When someone catches it, they ask a question about their favorite things. This encourages curiosity and conversation.
