Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will be able to identify at least five different countries and their capitals, as well as understand the importance of these places in the world.
Materials and Prep

- Sticky notes or small pieces of paper
- A timer (optional)
Before the lesson, make sure to have a basic world map ready for reference. Familiarize yourself with at least five countries and their capitals to guide the student during activities.
Activities

Country and Capital Matching Game:
Write down the names of five countries on sticky notes and their capitals on separate notes. Mix them up, and let the student match the countries with their capitals. This helps with memory and recognition!

Have the student create a simple map of the world. They can color in the countries and write the capitals next to them. This activity promotes creativity while reinforcing what they've learned.
