Objective

    Connor will spend time researching diabetes, focusing on its types, effects on the body, and the importance of diet in managing the condition. He can create a presentation or a mind map to summarize his findings.

  • Recipe Exploration:

    Connor will explore various healthy recipes that are suitable for diabetics. He will focus on identifying ingredients that are low in sugar and high in fiber, and he can even select a couple of recipes to try out later.

  • Meal Planning:

    Using the information gathered, Connor will create a one-day meal plan for a diabetic person, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, ensuring to include healthier alternatives to common ingredients.

  • Cooking Demonstration:

    If possible, Connor can prepare one of the recipes from his meal plan, demonstrating the cooking techniques and healthier alternatives he has learned about.
