Objective
By the end of this lesson, the student will have a deeper understanding of the strategies and teamwork involved in Fortnite, as well as its impact on gaming culture. The student will also learn how to analyze gameplay and apply strategies to improve their own skills.
Materials and Prep
- Access to Fortnite on any platform (PC, console, etc.)
- A notebook or digital document for jotting down notes and strategies
- Internet connection for researching Fortnite strategies and updates
- Timer for timed challenges
Activities

Gameplay Analysis:
Play a few rounds of Fortnite while focusing on different aspects of gameplay, such as building, combat, and teamwork. After each round, take notes on what worked and what didn’t.

Strategy Research:
Spend time researching popular strategies used by top players or streamers. Write down at least three new strategies to try in the next gameplay session.

Timed Building Challenge:
Set a timer for 5 minutes and practice building structures quickly. Try to recreate a specific design or improve speed and efficiency. This will help improve building skills under pressure.

Teamwork Simulation:
If possible, play a duo or squad match with friends or family members. Focus on communication and teamwork, discussing roles and strategies before and during the match.
