Objective

By the end of this lesson, Frankie will learn about virtual pets, the importance of caring for them, and how to trade safely in Adopt Me on Roblox. Frankie will also create a fun pet care plan for his favorite pet in the game.

Materials and Prep

• A computer or tablet with Roblox and Adopt Me installed
• A notebook or digital document for writing
• Pens or pencils for note-taking
• A list of common pets in Adopt Me
• Basic understanding of how to play Adopt Me (if needed, a quick tutorial can be done before the lesson)

Activities

• Pet Care Discussion

  Start by discussing the different types of pets available in Adopt Me. Frankie can choose his favorite pet and talk about what it needs to be happy and healthy.

• Create a Pet Care Plan

  Using the notebook, Frankie will write a care plan for his chosen pet. This plan should include what the pet needs to eat, how often to play with it, and what activities they can do together.

• Trading Safety Role-Play

  Engage in a fun role-play where Frankie practices trading with a "friend" (you can pretend to be another player). Discuss how to trade safely and what to look out for in trades.

• Design a Dream House

  Frankie can sketch out a dream house for his pet. This can include rooms for eating, playing, and sleeping. Encourage creativity and fun designs!
