- Plastic spoons or hands for scooping

Before starting the lesson, ensure that the play area is easy to clean and that Paige is supervised at all times. Make sure the jelly is at a safe temperature for play.

Let Paige touch and squish the jelly with her hands. Encourage her to feel the wobbly texture and describe what she feels.
