Materials and Prep
- Paper and pencils
- Access to a computer or tablet for online games (if needed)
- Printed or digital copies of a short story or game narrative

After the reading, Mason will identify five new words from the story. He will look up their meanings and use them in his own sentences, creating a mini vocabulary game.
-
Character Creation:
Mason will create his own character inspired by the story. He will write a short description of the character, including their strengths, weaknesses, and a fun backstory.
-

Using the character he created, Mason will rewrite the ending of the story or create a sequel, allowing him to practice creative writing while incorporating his character.
