Materials and Prep

• A computer or gaming console with access to Fortnite
• Pen and paper

Activities

1. Play Fortnite for 30 minutes and pay attention to the different elements of storytelling you encounter. Take notes on any interesting characters, plot developments, or narrative techniques you observe.

2. After playing, write a short story or script inspired by your Fortnite experience. Incorporate the storytelling elements you identified in the game into your own narrative.

3. Share your story with a family member or friend. Discuss how the elements you used enhanced the storytelling and made your narrative more engaging.
