Objective

By the end of this lesson, the student will have a deeper understanding of the gameplay mechanics and strategies in Roblox Adopt Me. They will also learn how to effectively trade, care for pets, and create a fun virtual environment.

Materials and Prep

• Access to a computer or tablet with Roblox installed
• A Roblox account
• Internet connection
• Basic understanding of how to navigate Roblox
• Optional: A notebook for jotting down strategies and ideas

Activities

• Exploring the Game: Spend 30 minutes exploring the various areas in Adopt Me. Visit places like the nursery, the pet shop, and your home. Take notes on what you find interesting or fun.

• Pet Care Challenge: Choose a pet and complete a series of tasks to care for it (feeding, playing, etc.). Set a timer for 15 minutes and see how many tasks you can complete!

• Trading Simulation: Role-play a trading scenario with the teacher (or a family member). Set up a mock trade where you can practice negotiation skills and learn the value of different pets and items.

• Design Your Dream Home: Spend time decorating your virtual home in Adopt Me. Think about what items you would like to have and how to make your space unique. Share your design choices and the reasoning behind them.
