Before the lesson, ensure that the scissors are safe for the student to use. Have a comfortable workspace ready and a trash bin for any scraps.

Collage Creation
Using old magazines or scrap paper, the student can cut out pictures and shapes that they like. They can then glue these onto a piece of construction paper to create a colorful collage.

Marker Masterpieces
The student can draw their favorite animals, shapes, or scenes using markers on construction paper. Encourage them to use lots of colors and to be creative!

With construction paper, the student can cut out shapes to create their own puppets. They can then decorate them with markers and glue different parts together to make fun characters.
